Kid update

We entered Randalyns photos into the school competition called Reflections. There are different categories in the different grade levels. There was a photography one, so Amy helped her do up a nice display of a few of her favorite ones from the pictures she took at Zion. Well, we got home Sunday night from up north (Drill Team competition) and here's this medal sitting on the table for her entry. They were just given the awards and not told what place they took or anything. Amy called a friend and found out she actually took first place for the kids in 3rd-5th grade. Now it goes to the District level. We were excited for her.

Mohey Tawa did pretty good at their last competition. They placed 1st-Kickline, 2nd-Dance Routine, 2nd- Prop, and 4th- Military, which we felt was a rip off! They were up against some of the top teams in the state, so they were pleased with how well they placed. We got snowed in and had fun shopping for Christmas. Morgan made us nervous for a while when she hurt her hand during practice. Amy took her to the Doc to be sure she didn't have a fracture. Turned out no fracture, but she did damage some tendons. She just had to wear a brace for a while. Just would be bad timing for her to break something during competition season. She would be crushed.

Trystan has had a few band concerts and now we get to hear what all the banging he does is supposed to go with. The sounds make a lot more sense along with the rest of the band!! haha. He wants a drum set for Christmas!!! He thinks we're nuts. He has also been playing basketball with Junior Jazz and enjoying that. They haven't won yet, but he has had a lot of playing time and is learning to be a little more aggressive when it comes to defending.

Brendan.... well... he's Brendan. Still growing and still a funny kid. He will be perfroming with the girls in their annual Christmas dance review. He takes a hip hop class and loves it! Should be quite entertaining!
